My family and I had recently had our newborn family shoot captured by Jen Freeborn Photography and it was an amazing experience. Jen was very friendly and easy to communicate with right from the intitial contact. She was very clear and punctual about the whole process and made me feel at ease with any concerns I had.

I’ve used Jen three times over the years as our family has grown, and we’ve come to love both the sessions and the beautiful photos. Taking photos with small children can be tricky, but Jen has a special way of connecting with kids and making the most of every moment. On our very first shoot, our 3‑month‑old had a complete meltdown halfway through, I was sure the photos wouldn’t turn out. To my surprise, Jen captured the most stunning images, and you’d never know what had happened behind the scenes.

We have had two sessions with Jen and couldn't be happier with the experiences and the photos. We are not super comfortable in front of a camera, and the second time around we had a shy cheeky toddler as well, but this was not an issue. Jen is so kind and gentle, a true professional, gives direction when needed, and is great with kids. She was also very flexible and accommodating when we had to change session dates multiple times due to our first baby having to spend time in NICU and our second baby being very overdue.
